September 7, 2018
We will be adding information about our 2019 flu clinics later in the year, around September. If you are over 65 (or are currently 64 but will be 65 on March 31 2020) you are automatically entitled to the flu vaccine.
If you are under 65 but fall into one of the ‘at risk’ groups such as those with diabetes, asthma, COPD, or are pregnant then you are also entitled to receive the vaccination. If in doubt please check with Reception.
If you usually get your vaccination at the pharmacy then please consider supporting your GP practice instead – in addition to the Saturdays we usually offer short weekday clinics at either the start or end of the day for those who find Saturdays inconvenient.
Child Flu vaccination – as soon as we receive a delivery date for these we will be contacting those eligible to receive it, and updating the information on here. Please note that the nasal spray vaccine is now given to all children/young people up to the age of 18, and not the injection.
